On the fourteenth Rock Solid hosted a Valentine's day banquet. It was a formal occasion where everyone wore clothes from their favorite era. Kelsey and I represented the youth from our church. It was a really swanky occasion. The tables were set with center pieces and candles and we all drank fancy bottles of sparkling punch. Jeff Klassen was our guest speaker and Meghan Bowman was our musical guest. Both did a very nice job. There was also (possibly my favorite part) serenading by request. Those who donated to mission could get their friend sung a love song. Some of the more adventurous of the did the serenading themselves! There was also a photo corner.
