Last Friday, Pastor Kevin, Andrew, Jantz, Chantelle, Mike, and I went to Saskatoon for the Tree 63 concert. Before the concert started we went to a couple of stores. In Staples we stood in the middle of the store and stared aimlessly up at the ceiling, making such comments as "how did they get that up there?" and "ooh look, something shiny!" We did this a few times and had a total of 8 people look up to see what we were staring at! For supper we went to Arby's and educated the person at the till about significant points in Canadian history like the war of 1812! We very much enjoyed our curly fries! The concert was oober awesome! You know when you go to a concert and there is that small group of psychos at the front who cheer really loud, sometimes for no reason, and spend their time rocking out really hard core, while the rest of the crowd is fairly mellow? That was us! It was a blast! Addison, a worship band from Horizon, opened for Tree 63. Tree 63 started off with one of their most famous songs King and played a bunch of music from their new CD Sunday. There was no mosh pit so we didn't have to worry about getting someone else's BO on your face! After the concert we got posters and CDs signed. Chantelle managed to get both sides of her poster signed by a stealthy pass back to Andrew! Before heading home we stooped at 711 for some slurpies, a litre for Chantelle (she only drank about a 1/12 of it!!), pop and chicken. It was a stellar time!
